DllLoad
DllLoad — loads dynamic libraries.
Syntax
DllLoad ("filename", verbose? = nil)
Arguments
- filename
- The name of the dynamic library to be loaded.
- verbose
- When set to t, shows the paths of
load attempts.
Returns
An integer "handle" on success,
or an error message.
Description
This function loads a DLL if the
system supports it (Linux, QNX 6, and MS-Windows). The first search
path for the DLL is taken to be ./, next is
/usr/cogent/dll/, and finally the system DLL
search path, if any.
Example
Without using the optional verbose parameter:
